A San Luis Obispo County CHP officer attempting to make a vehicle stop on a grey Chevrolet Camaro along Highway 101 in Paso Robles ends up in pursuit into downtown. The Chevrolet Camaro crashed on 13th Street at Spring Street and the officer went in foot pursuit of the driver. Shooting ensued by both the suspect and the officer in which both were injured. The officer has been released from the hospital. The suspect was placed under arrest and is still hospitalized. Their identities have not been released.
