I know many people have already taken advantage of the absentee and early voting opportunities, but for those who, like me, want the old-fashioned experience of going to the polls Nov. 6, please consider voting to re-elect Jan Marx as mayor of San Luis Obispo.

Under her leadership, the city has protected our environment and open spaces, increased neighborhood services such as infrastructure and public transportation systems, and secured money to improve the Los Osos Valley Road interchange.

Her continued leadership will mean increased economic vitality within a balanced budget and continued improvements to our environment and natural resources.
