The California Lodging Industry Association recently honored the Sea Crest Ocean Front Hotel in Pismo Beach with a 2012 award for excellence in lodging and hospitality for its marketing programs, according to a recent news release.

The 50-year-old hotel is owned by Los Angeles-based investment groups Core Capital and Downtown Properties, according to public records.
