Bulk retailer Smart & Final will open a new location Wednesday in Arroyo Grande.

The store will open at 1464 E. Grand Ave. The previous tenant, Spencer’s Fresh Market, closed in July.

The Smart & Final Extra store taking its place is about 28,000 square feet, making it larger than a typical Smart & Final store, according to a company news release.

The store will open at 6 a.m., and the first 250 people in line will receive a randomly selected Smart & Final gift card valued at $20, $30, $50, or $100.
