As the election draws closer, it behooves me to let everyone know that backing Barbara George for Cuesta College trustee not only makes sense — it is the vote that might make a huge difference in the way the college moves forward over these next years.

I worked with Barbara as a member of the Cuesta College Foundation for seven years, while she was the executive director, and never have I seen someone work so diligently and with such integrity as she did. Whether she was attending a college function, answering one of a thousand questions, or doing one of a number of things that it took to keep that organization not only on track, but energized and cohesive.

So she comes to this position with a background that is stellar, and I personally know she will move forward in the same way — and therefore so will Cuesta College.
