Sloppy bookkeeping

Published: October 22, 2012

Joetopia’s search for voter fraud facts was after real people and real cases of voter fraud. In short, if the fraud occurred, there would be arrests, fines, incarcerations as the law would dictate. Joe found virtually no such cases because none exist!

reports errors in government offices or errors in registering voters or keeping up with deceased voters or those who move from state to state. This is not voter fraud, just sloppy bookkeeping. If it were fraud, Joe’s source would have discovered who was charged and the result of the court case.

Joe’s source trumps Jeri Young’s six-point sample simply because Joe was looking for real fraud, and Jeri was confused or was trying to confuse readers about actual voter fraud.
