Eagles down Righetti 46-34 on the road

Elijah Holt had an 82-yard touchdown run and a game-sealing, 85-yard interception return for a touchdown in the fourth quarter of the Arroyo Grande High football team’s 46-34 victory at Righetti on Friday night.

Eagles quarterback Matt Willkomm finished 13-for-19 passing for 171 yards and two touchdowns, both to Brennan Rivera, while rushing for 45 yards and another score.

Rivera had eight catches for 114 yards.

Righetti (2-7, 1-4 PAC 7) led 28-25 at the half, but a Willkomm touchdown pass and a Michael Jordano 65-yard touchdown run gave Arroyo Grande (6-2, 3-1) a 39-34 advantage entering the fourth quarter.

Arroyo Grande place kicker Cole Ramey kicked a 40-yard field goal in the second quarter and converted all five of his PAT attempts.
