Former Templeton softball star to receive honor

Lindsay Campana to be inducted into Central California Hall of Fame

Former Templeton High standout and Tribune County Player of the Year Lindsay Campana will be inducted into the Central California American Softball Association Hall of Fame on Saturday.

A pitching coach for Valdosta State, Campana helped the Trailblazers win the NCAA Division II national softball championship this past season and was named as a member of the National Coaching Staff of the Year for Division II.

The dinner and ceremony are being held at the Cambria Pines Lodge. Ten players, coaches, commissioners and umpires from around the area will be honored at the event.
