Lane closures planned on Hwy. 1 near California Men's Colony

Published: October 16, 2012

A 1.5-mile section of southbound Highway 1 near the California Men's Colony will undergo pavement sealing from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, with lane closures occurring during the work, Caltrans said.

The road crew will work on the southbound fast lane in the morning and the slow lane in the afternoon. Traffic will be directed into the one open lane, and electronic message signs will warn drivers about the sealing project.
