A leader for Nipomo

Published: October 15, 2012

The upcoming election for two Nipomo Community Service District directors is vitally important to the community. Water usage is exceeding the amount replaced by rainfall, and a dependable alternate source of water is needed. There are a number of potential sources for supplemental water, and the community needs to elect directors with the best skill sets for analyzing those sources and coming up with the best solution for Nipomo.

Craig Armstrong has a lifetime of experience in finance and accounting and rose to vice president at Hilton Hotels. The cost of bringing supplemental water to the Nipomo Mesa will affect all of our pocketbooks, and Craig has the background to be able to objectively analyze and fairly evaluate whatever proposals are under consideration.

In addition, Craig is a member of the Supplemental Water Alternatives Evaluation Committee and is participating in its review of a wide range of options for obtaining supplemental water.

I have worked with Craig and have seen firsthand the high level of dedication and commitment he brings to whatever responsibility he has undertaken. The NCSD board will benefit from his experience and expertise, and I strongly urge you to vote for Craig in the upcoming election.
