Voice for vocational ed

Published: October 15, 2012

Cuesta College and our community need the objective and independent voice of David Baldwin on its Board of Trustees. I know Dave. He’s intelligent, he asks tough questions and he is a proven success in positions of trust that require prudence and wisdom. Dave helps to manage $250 million in pension funds as a trustee. David would be a voice for vocational and technical education, replacing Per Matheson on the Cuesta board as a champion for these programs.

Cuesta is caught in a squeeze of declining enrollment, rising costs and fundamental changes in the delivery of education. Electing the same-old, same-old is not the way to go this time. There is a better choice. Elect David Baldwin.
