Mustangs' women’s golf team finishes 11th at desert tournament

Cal Poly climbed two spots on the final day to finish 11th out of 19 teams at the Wyoming Desert Cowgirl Intercollegiate on Sunday in Palm Desert.

Madison Hirsch carded the Mustangs’ top score of the final round with a 75.

Asia Adell finished in a tie for 21st place with a 228 total.

The Mustangs shot a 54-hole total of 942.

Fresno State won the event with a 885 total.

Kathy Boehm of College of Charleston won the individual title with a 216 total.
