Colton Madrigal ran for 145 yards and a touchdown, but Paso Robles High's football team (4-3, 1-2 PAC 7) fell to first-place St. Joseph 31-17 on Friday night as the Knights improved to 6-1 and 4-0 in the PAC 7.
The Bearcats only managed a Bryce Paske field goal in the second half after falling behind 24-14 at halftime. Paso Robles was outgained 326 to 247 yards.
The Bearcats scored their first touchdown on a trick play when receiver Bailey Gaither threw a 44-yard touchdown to Jonathan Baldwin in the first quarter.
