Dan Beavers had four touchdowns, one passing, one rushing and two via interception return, as Morro Bay High's football team (4-3, 2-1 LPL) cruised past Santa Ynez (1-6, 1-2 LPL) for a 38-8 home win Friday night.

Zach Smith had a 34-yard reception for a touchdown, and Derek Viles ran for a 22-yard touchdown for Morro Bay.

Morro Bay’s offense gained 288 rushing yards on 38 attempts, finishing with 361 total yards and no turnovers.

The defense intercepted five passes, and kicker Jackson Chavez had a perfect night with five extra points and a 35-yard field goal.
