Forty years ago, PG&E said when I was arrested in front of Diablo Canyon that its nuclear waste would not be a problem.
PG&E is storing it onsite. It will be around for 10,000 years. Diablo has earthquake faults like Japan. Terminate Diablo as a functioning nuclear power plant ASAP.
Photovoltaics on our roofs, as I have, would be an excellent alternative.
