Local nonprofit organizations will make their cases to receive grants from the Cambria Community Council at a council meeting starting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30, at Rabobank, 1070 Main St.

Grant applications are available now at the Cambria Library, 900 Main St. The forms are due no later than the Oct. 30 meeting. Representatives of nonprofit organizations must be present to discuss their requests.

The Cambria Community Council is a nonprofit organization which has served Cambria for more than 60 years. In addition to providing funding for the Cambria Community Bus, the council provides grants to nonprofit organizations that serve Cambria. The grants and bus are funded  through donations made in an annual “Open Heart” letter appeal every October.
