A man said someone turned on the water in his front yard and let it run for hours. It was the second time it had happened in a few months.

Whoo let you in?

4:53 a.m. Oct. 2, 5200 block of El Camino Real

A resident said there was an owl in her kitchen.

Homeless shelter

5:36 a.m. Oct. 2, 9990 El Camino Real

Transients were sleeping in the Dumpster at Chalk Mountain Liquor.

Propaganda gets personal

1:51 p.m. Oct. 2, call to Atascadero Police Department

A man said someone was putting derogatory fliers about him around town.

Keep it down

9:50 p.m. Oct. 3, 7200 block of Cortez Avenue

A resident reported an ongoing problem with a neighbor using a jackhammer during the night.

What dopes

10:02 a.m. Oct. 4, 5903 East Mall

A group of five to six juveniles were riding skateboards and smoking marijuana on the sidewalk. Officers wrote multiple citations for the marijuana possession.

Cowboy in waiting

2:43 p.m. Oct. 4, 8300 block of Curbaril Avenue

A man carrying a rope had been at the bottom of a resident’s driveway for 15 minutes. Officers contacted the man, who was waiting for a ride.

Knock it off

11:23 p.m. Oct. 4, 8200 El Camino Real

A woman in her 20s wearing a floral print dress was slamming on the front door of Albertsons, saying she wanted to go home. Officers arrested her on suspicion of being drunk in public.

Just say no

9:54 a.m. Oct. 5, 1 High School Hill

A high school student with a large amount of cash and marijuana was in the office at the high school.

Dangerous prank

2:23 p.m. Oct. 6, Atascadero Avenue at Santa Rosa Road

A group of six kids were pulling a rope across the street to stop traffic.
