A three-week repaving project to fix a section of San Fernando Road on the city’s west side is complete. The project spanned an area from Graves Creek to Balboa Road, also adding minor drainage and backfill to the road shoulders, according to a city news release.
The roughly $414,000 construction project was completed by CalPortland Construction Co. in Atascadero, according to David Athey of the city’s Public Works Department. The original construction bid was about $422,000, he said. The city used a mix of state and city funds to pay for the project.
