Construction at Paloma Creek Park in Atascadero to improve disabled access

Published: October 9, 2012

Wheelchair ramps, walkways and signage are among the changes being made at Paloma Creek Park to improve disabled access around Viejo Camino and Halcon Road.

The nearly $50,460 project — contracted to Whitaker Construction Group in Paso Robles — includes parking lot striping and asphalt replacement, a city news release said. The project is funded by a federal grant.

Access to homes should remain open, but brief road closures are possible during the project.

For more information, call the city at 470-3148.
