San Luis Obispo High girls golf team goes low in win over Atascadero

— The Tigers rolled to a PAC 7 win over Atascadero on Monday behind medalist Nora Zakaria’s 2-over 37 at Chalk Mountain Golf Course.

San Luis Obispo coach Michael Samaniego said the 216 the team posted was the lowest score by the Tigers in his six years as coach.

Neha Sikand added a 39, Sam Lopez has a 43, Bee Soll shot 47 and Sam Tsau carded 50 for the Tigers (6-2, 3-1 PAC 7).

Atascadero had only four golfers and did not score.

The Greyhounds were lead by Heather Wulff, who shot a 58, and Miranda Roetker, who had a 59. Iris Maldonado and Natalie Martinez each carded 67 for Atascadero.

Paso Robles 262, St. Joseph 271

The Bearcats topped St. Joseph for a PAC 7 win.

Carly McCall shot a 49 and Micaela Howard shot a 52 to lead Paso Robles.

Desirae Gillaspy of St. Joseph was the medalist with a 43.
