The San Luis Coastal Unified School District and the Teach Foundation are hosting a free event at 7 p.m. Monday night to discuss exploring community support for local education.

Jamie Vollmer, author of “Schools Cannot Do it Alone,” will talk about partnering with the community to build support for public schools.

The presentation will be at 7 p.m. at the Downtown Center Cinemas, 888 Marsh St., San Luis Obispo. Tickets are required for admission and are reserved for the first 250 people.
