Cal Poly women's soccer team stays unbeaten in Big West

The Cal Poly women's soccer team rallied after falling behind 2-0 to remain unbeaten in Big West Conference play with a 4-3 double-overtime win at Long Beach State on Sunday.


Cal Poly (7-5-1, 4-0 Big West) scored three second-half goals and had the lead before conceding an equalizer in the 88th minute.


Elise Krieghoff scored two goals for Cal Poly, her first coming in the 70th minute followed three minutes later by a goal from Sara Epps that tied the score.


Krieghoff also scored in the 82nd minute.


Epps scored her second goal of the game in the second overtime to give the Mustangs the victory.


Renee Mendiola and Nadia Link scored for the 49ers (9-5, 2-2).
