PREGAME

Can Templeton High's football team do it again?

The Eagles (5-1, 2-1) host defending two-time Los Padres League champion Lompoc (5-0, 1-0) tonight at 7. Lompoc has won the past two CIF-Southern Section Northwest Division titles and is looking like a threat to win another Southern Section championship this year. Lompoc has won 25 straight games since 2010.

The Braves' last loss was a 31-21 setback at Templeton in the 2010 season. In that game, Lompoc led 21-14 at halftime but Templeton outscored Lompoc 17-0 in the second half to win that game.

In PAC 7 games tonight, Arroyo Grande is at St. Joseph, Righetti is at Atascadero, San Luis Obispo is at Pioneer Valley, and Paso Robles hosts Kingsburg in a nonleague game.

In the Los Padres League, Nipomo is at Cabrillo, and Morro Bay has the week off.

Check SanLuisObispo.com throughout the night for updates on all the games.
