THIRD QUARTER
The Templeton High football team faces a 35-0 deficit entering the fourth quarter of its game against visiting Lompoc tonight.
The Braves expanded on their 21-0 halftime lead with a touchdown run from Taylor Cornejo and a 63-yard pass from Tyler Ornelas to Greg Mitchell.
HALFTIME
The Templeton High football team has been held to 33 yards of offense as it trails 21-0 at halftime of its game against Lompoc tonight.
After falling behind 14-0 after the first quarter, the Eagles defense slowed the Braves attack until the final minute of the half, when Lompoc connected on a halfback pass to give the Braves a 21-0 lead with 14 seconds left until halftime.
FIRST QUARTER
The Templeton High football team is facing a 14-0 deficit entering the second quarter of its game against Lompoc tonight.
An opening-drive interception from the Eagles allowed the Braves to score on a 30-yard reverse to take the early 7-0 lead with just under 10 minutes remaining in the first quarter.
Lompoc added a short touchdown run to extend the lead to 14-0 with 1:46 left in the quarter.

PREGAME
Can Templeton High's football team do it again?
The Eagles (5-1, 2-1) host defending two-time Los Padres League champion Lompoc (5-0, 1-0) tonight at 7. Lompoc has won the past two CIF-Southern Section Northwest Division titles and is looking like a threat to win another Southern Section championship this year. Lompoc has won 25 straight games since 2010.
The Braves' last loss was a 31-21 setback at Templeton in the 2010 season. In that game, Lompoc led 21-14 at halftime but Templeton outscored Lompoc 17-0 in the second half to win that game.
In PAC 7 games tonight, Arroyo Grande is at St. Joseph, Righetti is at Atascadero, San Luis Obispo is at Pioneer Valley, and Paso Robles hosts Kingsburg in a nonleague game.
In the Los Padres League, Nipomo is at Cabrillo, and Morro Bay has the week off.
