Cambria — The population of Cambria is still growing as scarecrows continue to spring up around town, reaching an estimated total of 370 on Tuesday, Oct. 2, with more on the way — along with a stream of people, locals and visitors alike, gawking at the colorful creations.
A guide to the scarecrows is due to be available starting today, Oct. 4, at various locations, including the Cambria Chamber of Commerce, 767 Main St.; The Cambrian, 2442 Main St., A Matter of Taste, 4120 Burton Drive; the Cambria Historical Museum at the corner of Burton Drive and Center Street; and at Centrally Grown (formerly The Hamlet), 7432 Exotic Garden Drive. Centrally Grown sponsored production of the guide, which was designed by Barnett Cox & Associates of San Luis Obispo.
