Candidates for the Templeton Community Services District Board of Directors will talk about their platforms this fall during a public forum at the Templeton Community Center, 691 S. Main St.

Monday was the deadline for residents to submit a question or topics for discussion. Messages can be emailed to info@service-above-self.com  or mailed to P.O. Box 1496, Templeton, CA 93465.

Then, from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Oct. 11, candidates will answer questions about their background, their motivation for running and their views on the issues facing the town during the free event, according to a news release from the Rotary Club of Templeton, which is hosting the event.

Three of the five seats on the district’s board are up for election. Incumbent Judith Dietch is seeking re-election. Newcomers vying for a seat are Clifford Beere, Geoff English, Brenda Gray, David LaCaro, Daniel Migliazzo and Wayne Petersen.
