It’s my understanding that the proposed high-energy seismic surveys are the same surveys used to search for undersea oil.
1. When oil companies purchase the surveys from PG&E, will the ratepayers be reimbursed or shareholders profit?
2. What is our answer if oil is discovered off our coast? Do we really want off-shore oil drilling platforms like on the Santa Barbara coastline?
