The Nipomo High girls golf team won a Los Padres League match Monday against Lompoc at Monarch Dunes, topping the Braves 244-308.

The medalist in the match was Nipomo’s Ashley Ruiz, who shot a 45.

Also for the Titans, Ashley Gonzalez shot a 46 and Courtney Cuzick tallied a 49. Saranden Vickey also shot a 49 for Lompoc.

Nipomo is now 4-1 for the season in the league’s dual matches.

Santa Ynez 302, Morro Bay 313

Morro Bay’s girls golf team took a close loss to Santa Ynez at Alisal in Solvang.

The Pirates were defeated 302-313. Jennifer Baltimore had the best score for Morro Bay with a 45.

Morro Bay dropped to 0-3 in league play.
