Consider updates to city’s land-use laws to make them consistent with the land-use and housing elements in the city’s general plan (its blueprint for growth) to streamline the development review process; consider bids for street improvements on West Grand Avenue between Eighth and 11th streets.

Lucia Mar Unified School District Board of Trustees. Meets Tuesday. 474-3000. Recognize Lucia Mar district teacher of the year Ann Elliott, who was named county teacher of the year; approve tentative agreement regarding the Teacher Advancement Program recently approved by the Lucia Mar Unified Teachers Association.

Paso Robles City Council. Meets Tuesday. 237-3888. Authorize placement of a memorial for the three men who died during construction of the Nacimiento Water Project pipeline; appoint citizens to participate in police chief candidate interview panels; distribute a request for proposals for concessionaires at Barney Schwartz Park; consider replacing one fire engine.

Pismo Beach City Council. Meets Tuesday. 773-4657. Consider changes to city rules regarding door-to-door solicitation; consider establishing a program to underground overhead utility lines in residential neighborhoods.

Shandon Advisory Council. Meets Wednesday. shandoncouncil@yahoo.com. Elections for one seat and three alternate spots available on the advisory council.

Templeton Community Services District. Meets Tuesday. 434-4900. District’s audit report; clarify that a letter representing the district to the San Luis Obispo County Board of Supervisors should be rescinded.
