Royals overcome early 6-0 deficit to beat View Park on the road

Michael Cardwell had 225 yards on 26 carries and one touchdown to rally Mission Prep to a 26-14 football win at View Park on Friday night.

Mission Prep’s Joey Hall tied the score at 6 in the second quarter on a 29-yard touchdeown pass from Tyler Baty.

The Royals (5-0) outscored View Park 20-8 in the second half to pull away late.

Baty was 14-of-20 passing for 198 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for another on a 1-yard quarterback keeper in the third quarter. Hall had seven catches for 126 yards and two touchdowns.
