Bigger. Bolder. Better.
Thats what we hope youll conclude after seeing our websites new look.
Weve given SanLuisObispo.com a makeover the first major change in four years to make it faster, easier to use and less cluttered.
All of your favorite features are still here, including the latest local news, sports, editorials, columnists, lifestyle and entertainment coverage, as well as our popular photo galleries and blogs. And you can still search for specific stories.
Here are the biggest changes:
- Faster-loading pages; you shouldnt have to wait as long for stories and photos to appear.
- A cleaner design with easy-to-use navigation links.
- User-friendly photo galleries with bigger photos.
- More frequent news updates from early morning until late at night.
The new website was developed by the interactive division of our parent company, Sacramento-based McClatchy Co., and will eventually be used by all 30 of its daily newspapers providing a common platform that will allow us to take advantage of new technologies more quickly.
If you have bookmarked links, they should still work. And if you have difficulty finding anything or just want to share your reaction just fill out our feedback form. Well keep you posted on the response we receive.
Looking ahead, well continue to make additional changes and improvements to our website all designed to help you get the most trusted local information you need, when you need it.
