FBI agents armed with a search warrant raided the office of a local real estate company Tuesday, an FBI spokesperson confirmed.

The search occurred at Apex Properties at 505 S. Higuera St. in San Luis Obispo.

No arrests were made. Because the warrant was filed under seal, the FBI would not comment on the details of the warrant or the focus of the search, said Laura Eimiller, a spokesperson with the FBI’s Los Angeles office.

Warrants are generally filed under seal, she said, because they are used in the early stages of a criminal investigation. The public will be notified, she added, if an indictment is issued.

No one answered the phone at Apex Tuesday afternoon. Meanwhile, the company’s website was down.
