Steve-o Davis of Morro Bay waxes up his board for a morning of surfing at Morro Rock after biking his longboard to the beach with a custom-made trailer he made from recycled parts. Davis grew up surfing in Zuma Beach in the 50's and 60's. A northwest swell generated by an early-season storm in the Gulf of Alaska arrived Monday, creating good conditions through today.
