Poly grad honored as tourism leader

A Cal Poly alumna was recently honored at the California Travel Association’s 30th annual California Travel Summit in Sacramento.

Krista Rupp, sales and marketing manager for the Santa Cruz County Conference and Visitors Council, was honored as one of 30 individuals, 30 years of age or younger, who are “new leaders” in tourism, according to a news release. Rupp is a San Luis Obispo County native who graduated from Cal Poly with a degree in recreation, parks and tourism administration.
