Phil Dirkx wrote a piece in Fridays paper saying how happy he was that someone stood up to the Creston rodeo clown.
I think he left something out of his story. If the same clown had made an equally offensive racist or sexist joke about George Bush or Sarah Palin, you can bet your bottom dollar you would have never seen a thing about it in The Tribune. You see, political correctness is more about who is offended than how offensive the remark is. It is really to oppress criticism of one political point of view. Thats why they call it political.
