The Atascadero High girls volleyball team defeated Paso Robles 25-13, 25-14, 20-25, 25-23 on the road Thursday night.
Sophia Guerrier led the Greyhounds (9-2, 1-1 PAC 7) with 13 kills. Kendall Featherstone had nine kills and 21 digs, Chandler Haskell had eight kills and Mary Kate Evans had six kills for Atascadero.
Sage Kelly added 13 assists and four aces, and Sabrina Degnan had 22 assists and eight digs for the Greyhounds.
Molly Donovan led the Bearcats (6-7), (1-2 PAC 7) with 10 kills.
Maddi Chace added five kills, while Crystal Arrowsmith and Michelle Pridgeon each had nine assists for Paso Robles.
Arroyo Grande 3, Pioneer Valley 0
The Eagles swept at home 25-6, 25-0, 25-5.
With Millisa Morrow serving, Arroyo Grande (3-0 PAC 7) went on a 24-point run in the second game. Morrow finished with 17 aces and five kills.
Danielle Mullery had nine kills and seven blocks, and Alyssa Koenig had six kills for the Eagles.
Dos Pueblos 3, San Luis Obispo 0
The Tigers (12-1) fell to the Chargers at home 25-10, 25-14, 25-20.
Jessica Slate had five kills, and Casey Frost had 13 assists for San Luis Obispo.
Nipomo 3, Morro Bay 0
Recently named the MaxPreps/AVCA Player of the Week, Paige Waymire led the Titans (8-0, 2-0 Los Padres League) with 12 kills and three aces in their 25-16, 25-22, 25-15 win over the Pirates.
Cristina Ozzimo had 26 assists, Kiana Worth had 10 kills, Sarah Stahl had 22 digs and Taylor Nevitt had three blocks and three aces for Nipomo.
Templeton 3, Santa Maria 0
Carly Roth, Lucy Portillo and Lindsey Wyatt each had five kills to help the Eagles (6-1, 3-0 LPL) defeat the Saints 25-4, 25-12, 25-16.
Sydney Roth had 23 assists, and Mari Stewart added five digs for Templeton.
Santa Ynez 3, Mission Prep 0
The Royals (3-5) kept it close but couldnt pick up a win in a 25-16, 25-20, 25-12 road loss against the Pirates.
Noelle Laird had seven kills and eight digs to lead Mission Prep. Jessa Culver had a team-high 20 digs, and Grace Ready added five kills and 10 digs for the Royals.
Coast Union 3, Orcutt 1
Karla Sotos 10 kills led the Broncos (3-4, 2-0 Coast Valley League) in their 16-25, 25-8, 25-4, 25-17 victory over the Spartans.
Sage Radecki added 10 aces, and 24 assists for Coast Union.
Shandon 3, Valley Christian 2
Jessica Barrera led the Outlaws (2-4, 1-2 CVL) with seven kills in their 25-21, 21-25, 25-23, 19-25, 15-9 win over the Lions.
Berenice Rodriguez had five aces, and Carina Ramirez had four kills for Shandon.
Maricopa 3, North County Christian 2
The Crusaders (0-3) fell 25-13, 25-4, 24-26, 22-25, 15-5 to the Indians at home.
Kelsey McRoy led North County Christian with six aces, 11 digs and seven assists. Aliyah Morrison had six kills and eight digs, and Alyse DeHerrera had 10 digs for the Crusaders.
Coastal Christian 3, Cuyama Valley 0
The Conquerors swept the Bears 25-7, 25-5, 25-4 at home.
Leslie Henry led Coastal Christian (4-0, 2-0 CVL) with 17 kills, and JoAnn Lindstaedt and Roni Garrison had five aces apiece. Lindstaedt added 26 assists, and Koral Wright had 13 digs for the Conquerors.
St. Joseph 10, Atascadero 8
Amber Petersen swept 6-3, 6-0, 6-0 in the narrow loss for the Greyhounds (2-4, 0-4 PAC 7) on the road.
Jackie Wulff and Danielle Baldovin won two of three doubles sets for Atascadero.
Templeton 12, Coast Union 6
Alex Varagoza swept singles 6-3, 6-0, 6-0 in the Broncos (1-5) loss to the Eagles.
Coast Unions doubles team of Naomi Hernandez and Kylie Castle won two of its three sets.
No Templeton information was provided.
Lompoc 11, Nipomo 7
Gianna Abatti and Nicole Johnson swept their doubles sets 6-4, 6-1, 6-4, but the Titans (0-6, 0-4 LPL) fell to the Braves on the road.
Kelly Springford won two of three sets for Nipomo.
BOYS WATER POLO
Paso Robles 13, Morro Bay 5
The Bearcats (5-4) led 6-0 after the one period and cruised to the win.
Morgan Moore led Paso Robles with three goals. Mason Keller, Seth Wilkinson, Noah Norton and David Oliver had two goals apiece, and Collin Moore and Taylor Page added one each for the Bearcats.
Goalkeeper Ben Nagengast had eight saves.
Connor Rose led Morro Bay (5-3) with three goals, and Alexander Mckee and Grant Johnson added one each for the Pirates.
Goalkeeper Jack Krull had 13 saves.
San Luis Obispo 11, Nipomo 8
Chase Andersen led the Tigers (7-3) with four goals in the win over the Titans in Nipomo.
Also scoring for San Luis Obispo were Nick Eaton, Nick Bea, Dan Crozier, Tim Maas, Emerson Trout, Bo Crozier and Taylor Gater. Kent Murphy had 17 saves in goal for the Tigers.
Cabrillo 18, Atascadero 4
David Hernandez scored two goals for the Greyhounds (0-8) as they fell to the Conquistadors on the road.
Andrew Sedley and Jack Fisher also added goals for Atascadero.
Goalkeeper Matt Buckingham had 23 saves for the Greyhounds.
PAC 7 Tournament
Arroyo Grande placed first with a 222 behind medalist Anna Zhang, who shot a personal best 1-over-36 on the front nine at Cypress Ridge Golf Course.
Emma Fuhs shot a 44, Megan Donegan shot a 46, Breana Garcia shot a 47 and Ramie Castilleja shot a 48 for the host Eagles. San Luis Obispo finished third with a 255, three strokes behind second-place Righetti.
Nora Zakaria shot a 43 to lead the Tigers, and Sam Lopez added a 48.
Michaela Howard shot a 54 to lead sixth-place Paso Robles (283), and Miranda Roetker shot a 56 for Atascadero, which finished seventh at 309.
Los Padres League Tournament
Nipomo finished second, and Morro Bay placed third at Morro Bay Golf course. Cabrillo, which shot a 232, took the team title.
Ashley Ruiz led the Titans (243), shooting a 46 on the par-35 front nine. Courtney Cuzick shot a 48, Christine Delaby shot a 49 and both Ashley Gonzales and Destiny Fryckman shot a 50 for Nipomo.
Medalist Jennifer Baltimore shot a 40 for the host Pirates (247), Michelle Cordova shot a 45 and Lily Keogh shot a 46.
