Prep Girls Volleyball: San Luis Obispo remain undefeated with win over Atascadero

Arroyo Grande, Paso Robles, Templeton, Nipomo among other winners

The San Luis Obispo High girls volleyball team swept Atascadero 25-16, 25-20, 25-22 on Tuesday night, its 12th straight win to start the season and its second straight win against a PAC 7 opponent.

Maggie Eppright led the Tigers with a game-high 22 assists. Ariel Becker had 11 kills, and Erin Good had 11 digs.

Sophie Guerrier had nine kills for the Greyhounds (8-2, 0-1), and Mary Kate Evans added five kills.

Arroyo Grande 3, Righetti 0

Alaina Hogeboom had 42 assists for the visiting Eagles (9-3, 2-0 PAC 7) as they swept the Warriors 25-13, 25-21, 27-25.

Millisa Morrow led Arroyo Grande with 21 kills and also had two aces. Alyssa Koenig had 19 kills and three aces, and Jade Fuller added 21 digs.

Paso Robles 3, Pioneer Valley 0

Molly Donovan had 16 kills to lead the Bearcats (6-8, 1-1 PAC 7) in a 25-23, 25-18, 25-12 sweep of the Panthers.

Michelle Pridgeon had 13 assists, and Jackie Caraveo had 12 digs for Paso Robles.

Nipomo 3, Orcutt 0

The Titans (7-0) swept the Spartans 25-15, 25-12, 25-4.

Paige Waymire had 14 kills, Cristina Ozzimo had 27 assists and 11 aces and Sarah Stahl had 13 digs for Nipomo.

Templeton 3, Morro Bay 0

The Eagles (5-1, 2-0 LPL) swept the Pirates 25-14, 25-14, 25-16 behind Heather Fields, who had 10 kills and three aces.

Autumn Russell had nine kills and three aces, Lindsey Wyatt had 20 digs and two aces and Sydney Roth had 29 assists for the Eagles.

Mission Prep 3, Carpinteria 0

The Royals (3-4) swept 25-21, 25-19, 25-21 behind Jessa Culver’s 24 digs. Grace Ready had five kills and four aces, Rachel Hindmarsh had three blocks and four kills and Noelle Laird had 13 digs, five kills, and three aces for Mission Prep.

Coast Union 3, North Co. Christian 0

The Broncos (4-2, 2-0 Coast Valley League) swept the Crusaders 25-20, 25-5, 25-3.

Itzel Saavedra led Coast Union with 10 aces and six kills. Cristina Placencia added eight aces for the Broncos.

Janelle Honeycutt had five aces, and Kelsey McRoy had four assists for North County Christian (0-7, 0-2 CVL).

Coastal Christian 3, Valley Christian 0

The Conquerers (2-0, 1-0 CVL) swept the Lions 25-11, 25-4, 25-13.

Leslie Henry had 15 kills, JoAnn Lindstaedt had 22 assists and Roni Garrison had 11 aces for Coastal Christian.
