The Cuesta College women’s soccer team scored two first-half goals Tuesday afternoon to beat Lemoore 2-1.

Lemoore scored in the 13th minute to go up 1-0, but Madison Samora responded immediately in the 15th with an assist from Tanya Khaledi to tie the score.

Allison French put the Cougars (3-2-1) up 2-1 in the 27th minute with an assist from Josie Schneider. Goalie Julia Poladian made four saves to preserve the win.
