Mission Prep football team remains undefeated

Mission Prep's football team opened strong Friday night, scoring 52 points in the first half to shut out Sage Hill 52-0 on the road.

Patrick Laird opened the scoring on a 40-yard touchdown pass from Tyler Baty. Baty completed 10 passes for 188 yards and four touchdowns. Laird finished with two rushing touchdowns while converting five two-point conversions. Michael Cardwell scored two touchdowns on 89 yards rushing for Mission Prep (4-0).

Trevor Hernandez, Joey Hall and Evan Talbert each caught a touchdown pass for the Royals, who finished with 355 total yards.
