4 suspected burglars arrested in Nipomo break-in

San Luis Obispo County sheriff’s deputies have arrested four men in connection with a July 24 home burglary in Nipomo.

The burglary occurred at 5 p.m. July 24 in the Black Lake Golf Course area of Nipomo. Detectives investigated and have subsequently arrested four men on suspicion of residential burglary, robbery and conspiracy with gang enhancements.

Arrested were Juan Coria Mendoza, 21, Salvador Mendoza Jr., 25, Eric Xavier Mendoza, 19, and Jesus Alejandro Zavala, 26, all of Nipomo.

Deputies were able to recover some of the items taken during the burglary. Additional charges may be filed by the District Attorney’s Office.
