I have heard the Koch brothers mentioned as major donors to conservative causes and politicians, but I didn’t think much of it. After all, it’s their money to spend, right?

But then I heard that the their father, from whom they inherited their fortune, was a founding member of the John Birch Society. Curious, I looked up the society and read their history and position on various issues. Coincidentally, you published a synopsis of the Republican Party Platform. I encourage all voters to read both.
