Paso Robles High overwhelmed Santa Ynez 49-7 in a nonleague football game Friday night, piling up 526 yards of total offense compared to 164 for the Pirates.
Garrett Nelson had two 1-yard touchdowns and had a 51-yard touchdown pass to Bailey Gaither to give Paso Robles a 35-0 halftime lead. Nelson was 5-for-7 passing for 134 yards and one touchdown.
Josh Jeter ran for a pair of third-quarter touchdowns and totaled 191 yards on 23 carries. The Bearcats finished with 379 rushing yards. Colton Madrigal rushed for the games first touchdown three minutes into the game and ended with 118 yards on the ground.
