Labor Day brought remembrance of a day when people took pride in a job and satisfaction in a quality product. They spent time off in community and church groups, giving time and donations to the underprivileged and taking care of their own.

In this time of talk, talk, talk, let us have appreciation for the ones who get the job done. I hope our children have the same pride in a job well done, a product well made and a life well lived.
