After two very close calls and a recent $2,000 fender-bender (my fault), I’ve stopped driving. I now depend on friends and family for medical appointments in San Luis Obispo and Morro Bay, trips to church, grocery trips to Los Osos, etc. Maybe driving 71-plus years, with no injury accidents, is enough. Maybe I’ve been lucky, but I don’t want to press my luck and be responsible for a serious event. Think about it. I’ve stopped driving. When should you stop?
