Clerk suggests completing voter registration card

Published: September 3, 2012

The San Luis Obispo County Clerk-Recorder’s office is reminding anyone who recently relocated to the county or has changed their residence or mailing address to complete a voter registration card.

New registration cards must be postmarked no later than Oct. 22 to vote in the Nov. 6 General Election, according to a news release from county Clerk-Recorder Julie Rodewald.

A voter registration form can be found at www.slovote.com. It must be signed and mailed to the elections office at P.O. Box 8102, San Luis Obispo, CA 93403, or dropped off at 1055 Monterey St.

Forms are also available throughout the county at city hall offices, libraries, banks, notary offices and utility companies. Or call the clerk-recorder’s office at 781-5228, ext. 5228, and a form will be mailed.
