The Cal Poly womens soccer team fell 4-1 to Cal at home Friday night, suffering its first loss of the young season.
Down 4-0 late in the second half, Cici Kobinski scored the lone goal for the Mustangs (3-1-1) in the 78th minute.
Kaitlyn Fitzpatrick, Taylor Comeau, Emi Lawson and Nina Pederson all scored for the Golden Bears.

The Cougars played to a draw at home, with freshman midfielder Allison French scoring the lone Cougar goal in the season opener for both teams.
French, who earlier in the game dislocated her shoulder but returned to the game shortly thereafter, connected on an assist from Tanya Kahedi early in the second half to give Cuesta the 1-0 lead.
The Vikings answered in the 75th minute when Wendy Magarin scored on a free kick to tie the score.
Freshman goalkeeper Julia Poladain had 14 saves for the Cougars.
