I can’t say enough good things about the SLO County Bicycle Coalition. It is a great resource and service for anyone who wants to learn about bicycling around our great outdoors and how to maintain a bicycle.

This past Saturday, I took the On the Road workshop, which I recommend to anyone who isn’t sure about riding a bicycle around town in traffic. The instructors are knowledgeable and helpful.

I came away with much more confidence about my rights and responsibilities on the road, and the class has given me anew appreciation for bicyclists when I’m in my car.
