This is a a big thank you to the Galaxy Theater in Atascadero for showing “2016: Obama’s America.” This documentary was told in a clear and concise manner by a man who seems to have done his homework and then some. And in addition to bringing up a lot of information that is not reported elsewhere in the media, it raises many questions. These are scary and then some.

My parents were immigrants who came here for opportunities, not entitlements, because this country is the land of the free. Here they could work hard and succeed within the framework of capitalism, not socialism — the difference between the two being huge. They worked hard, learned English, and lived good lives.

There is a lesson to be learned from our ancestors and this film.
