San Luis Obispo attorney J. Jude Basile has joined a select fraternity of trial lawyers called The Inner Circle of Advocates.

The group is limited to 100 lawyers nationally, with the qualifications that each has at least three verdicts in excess of $1 million or one verdict in excess of $10 million, with the most recent verdict being no more than five years old, according to the group’s website.

Ten of the group’s members work in California, and Basile is the only one in San Luis Obispo County.

Basile became a lawyer in 1982. He focuses on representing individuals, families and small businesses involved with serious harm and wrongful death caused by safety violations and negligence.
