North County to continue cooling down a bit this week

Published: August 22, 2012

Tuesday marked the first day in a week that the high temperature in Paso Robles did not exceed 100 degrees — the city reached 96 degrees. The cooling trend will continue.

Local forecasting expert John Lindsey said today that temperatures in the North County will steadily fall over the next few days. Today's highs in the region will be in the low 90s, and by Saturday the high in Paso Robles should be 85 degrees.

Coastal valleys will remain in the 70s, while highs along the immediate coast will range from the upper 50s to high 60s.

Temperatures will rebound by the middle of next week, when Paso Robles' high climbs back into the 90s.
