I find myself agreeing with Rep. Todd Akin more and more. What has the nations return been on student loans and free lunches? How different would we be if everyone had to pay, and work, for want they wanted and pay at the time they got it? Columnist Gail Collins writes in New York City. How much does the city of New York spend on free lunches?
Not just free lunches during the school year, but also during summer vacation. And dont forget free breakfast and after-school meals. I was raised in a major city and never had a free lunch. How did our parents ever manage without government assistance? Easy, they took responsibility.
Because it seems our society is not moving forward, perhaps we need to take two steps backward to go forward. Back to our roots of taking care of business ourselves.
